6 injured in Salyan bus accident

Salyan: Six persons were injured in a bus accident in Salyan on Monday evening. The bus (Na 7 Kha 1848) heading to Chhatreswari village from Srinagar of the district met with an accident at Kanchi Mod of Chhatreswari-3 Pedikhola.

All the injured are from Chhatreswari Gaonpalika-4. Ramita Dangi, 22, Tulsa Bista, 28, Tilakumari Rawat, 26, Deepa Pun, 21, Sharmila Khatri, 27, and Sarita Khatri, 35, were injured in the incident, said Arjun Poudel, Information Officer at District Police Office, Salyan.

All the injured have been treated in Srinagar. According to the police, all of them sustained minor injuries. The cause of the accident is being investigated and the driver of the bus has absconded, police said.
