Smart lockdown now!

Kathmandu: The government is preparing for a smart lockdown. The Covid-19 Crisis Management Center (CCMC) has proposed a smart lockdown at its board of directors meeting on Friday. A meeting of the Board of Directors was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba. "Where there is a high incidence of infection, the CCMC has proposed a concept that can be stopped by the district or local level concerned," said CCMC spokesperson Nur Hari Khatiwada. He clarified that the concept of lockdown in a scientific and practical way is a smart lockdown. Although the lockdown that has been going on till now has been done through the district administration office, it has been under the control of the center. In the upcoming lockdown, the district can decide on its own. According to the concept of smart lockdown, where the corona infection increases, there is a lockdown, where it decreases, it becomes open.

UML standing committee meeting: What are the agendas?

Kathmandu: A meeting of the CPN-UML Standing Committee is scheduled to be held. Secretary-General Ishwor Pokharel convened the meeting on Saturday in consultation with Chairman KP Sharma Oli. According to a UML party office source, the meeting to be held in the afternoon at Tulsilal Memorial Foundation will discuss the agenda including preparation of the General Convention, completion of the Central Department, and renewal of membership. UML has decided to hold the assembly session from July 9 to 10. The previous meeting had approved the 10-point agreement submitted by the task force formed to resolve the party's dispute. The establishment party wants to focus on the general convention by resolving the issue of unity with the Madhav Nepal party as soon as possible.

Nepali citizens fell into the Mahakali River when SSB pulled out Tuin's rope

Jaisingh Dhami, 30, went missing after falling into the Mahakali River while crossing the river from Tuin at Malghat in Beas Gaonpalika-2 of Darchula on Friday morning. Police mistreated by Parsh Shah in Maharajgunj
