The Butwal-Tansen road section blocked by the landslide has not yet come into operation

Butwal:

The Butwal-Tansen road section of the highway, which was blocked by a landslide due to incessant rains since Wednesday night, has not been operational yet. The highway was blocked after landslides at Hiunde Khola, Jhumsa, Dobhan, and Siddhababa.

According to the Lumbini Provincial Traffic Office, the road could not come into operation as the landslide was not stopped. The office said that the landslide removal process is underway.

Earlier, a landslide had washed away six houses in Tinau Gaunpalika-5 of Palpa on Thursday.
