Home directive to list isolation centers, hospitals, and medical colleges as infections increase


Kathmandu: The government has directed the District Administration Office to list the hospitals for corona epidemic management.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has directed to list the isolation centers, hospitals, and medical colleges as per the need considering the possibility and risk of the third wave. The Ministry of Home Affairs has given five instructions to the District Administration Office by making a decision at the secretary level.

The House has also asked to send the list of hospitals to the Health Emergency Operations Center (HEOC) of the Ministry of Health and Population and to update the data/details of the infected in the listed hospitals daily.

Similarly, the Ministry of Home Affairs has been directed to collect the monthly updated details and send the details of the infected patients to the HEOC for inquiries and to monitor the regular supervision of the listed hospitals.

The government had postponed listed hospitals as corona infection rates were declining. The government has instructed to re-list the hospitals that were postponed due to the rising corona infection rate.
