Five gamblers were arrested for not paying Rs 200 after 7 years


Surkhet. Surkhet police have arrested five people in a gambling case after seven years for extorting Rs 200.

District Administration Office, Surkhet According to the police, they were arrested for the purpose of extorting Rupees.

According to District Police Office Surkhet Spokesperson and DSP Ram Prasad Gharti, the arrested are Lokendra Thapa, 31, Lokendra Sunar, 40, Sandeep Shrestha, 37, Roshan Bhattarai, 37, and Dhan Bahadur Gurung, 38, of Birendranagar Municipality-4.

He was arrested from the Birendranagar-6 market area on Thursday on the basis of special information and was produced at the District Administration Office, Surkhet, police said.
